Lived abroad in Florence, Italy from Sept 2004 to April 2005. Students had a studio and painted daily. I travelled
through Italy and eastern Europe including Austria, Slovenia en route to Poland, where I was born and spent my
early childhood. This opportunity to return to Europe taught me about self discipline and motivation as well as the
culture of Europe and how life differs there.
